A recent study from Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan, shows that working memory exercises not only enhance cognitive performance, but also strengthen connections in regions of the brain critical for memory.
The findings further support the extensive body of evidence showing that the right kind of cognitive training -- like that on Lumosity -- can enhance memory, attention and other cognitive abilities.

I started playing Lumosity for long-term benefits to my brain health. Since I've started, I've enjoyed it so much that my whole family plays, and I find all kinds of short-term benefits. I learn faster, work faster, and have more fun doing thinking tasks.
